“Edison is a native of Salisbury, NC and still resides there.
Edison’s interest in financial advising and Orion Financial began back in 2021. That same year he was visiting Utah for the first time with John Halley when he met Allen Poe. Hearing Allen and John talking about their work, and their desire to help clients reach their retirement goals resonated with Edison. Later that year Edison began his collegiate career at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he soon became a double major in Political Science and Economics, with a minor in History. Edison has decided to bring his interests in economics and investments to Orion Financial where he feels he can best establish relationships with clients while helping them reach their retirement goals and build financial independence (with a few history stories along the way).
When not in the office, Edison likes to spend time with family & friends, travel, fish, golf, ski, snowmobile, read, and above all cheer on the Tar Heels. These same hobbies and interests have led him to a career where he wants to help others pursue their interests both while they work and in retirement.”
